(florin-doru.hutu@insa-lyon.fr)UHF RFID is a passive technology; the tags do not embed any energy source. The readeracts in particular as a remote RF source which allows remote power supply (transfer of energy to the tag) and retro-modulation (transfer of information to the reader). With, in particular, the advent of RFID applications based on tag networks, such as the Internet of Things, associating tags becomes a promising way for considering new paradigms: exploiting the energy backscattered by tags in the vicinity of the interrogated tag, make tags communicate with each other, pool the resources available between tags. This session aims to present recent advances in this new vision of tag networks: “one for all and all for one”.
